Services for Brandeis Law Alumni
Reciprocity
Brandeis School of Law participates in a reciprocal career services agreement with other ABA-accredited law schools. This allows third-year students and graduates to request temporary access to career services at participating schools outside the Louisville area.
Brandeis School of Law Reciprocity Policy
The Office of Professional Development at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law will grant reciprocity to 3L students and graduates of other law schools – provided that the requesting law school offers comparable privileges to Brandeis students and alumni.
How to Request Reciprocity
1
Submit a formal request
Submit a formal request from a staff member in your school’s Career Services or Professional Development office. The request must include:
- Your full name, email, phone number and mailing address
- Your graduation date (or expected graduation date for 3Ls)
- A copy of your law school’s reciprocity policy
2
Eligibility and limitations
- Reciprocity is only granted to law schools offering equal access to Brandeis students and alumni.
- The Brandeis Office of Professional Development reserves the right to limit or deny access based on volume, misuse or number of requests.
- No more than one 3L and one alumnus/alumna from any school may have active reciprocity with Brandeis at a time.
3
Services provided

Not included: Career counseling, participation in recruiting events, application reviews or job/career fair access.
