In the Entrepreneurship Clinic, Brandeis law students team up with UofL MBA students to support early-stage companies and student-led ventures. Together, they provide legal and business guidance to entrepreneurs working to launch and grow their ideas.

This clinic offers a collaborative, interdisciplinary experience where students gain real-world exposure to the legal needs of startups while developing skills in transactional law and business strategy.


For Prospective Law Students

If you’re excited by innovation, business law, or intellectual property, the Entrepreneurship Clinic offers practical experience at the intersection of law and enterprise.

Students develop skills in:

  • Drafting and reviewing contracts
  • Business counseling and client communication
  • Intellectual property and patent fundamentals
  • Collaborating with non-legal professionals

For Community Members

The Entrepreneurship Clinic provides legal support to student-led startups and early-stage ventures through a partnership with UofL’s Forcht Center for Entrepreneurship. Clients receive guidance on business formation, intellectual property basics, and legal strategy—all delivered by supervised law and MBA student teams.
