Housing Clinic (Eviction Defense)
Advocating for housing stability. Defending community members in crisis.
Through the Housing Clinic, third-year Brandeis law students represent low-income tenants facing eviction in Jefferson County District Court. Working under faculty supervision, students serve as lead advocates—arguing motions, preparing defenses, and helping clients remain in their homes.
This clinic is at the front lines of the housing crisis, providing critical legal support to those at risk of losing shelter while preparing students for impactful public service careers.
