Accessibility & Accommodations
Committed to access, equity, and student success.
Sidebar
The University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law welcomes and supports students with disabilities through a strong partnership with the University of Louisville Disability Resource Center (DRC). We are committed to promoting equity and access by providing reasonable accommodations that allow all students to fully participate in the law school experience.
We encourage all prospective students with disabilities to reach out early and explore the services and support available.
Getting Started with Accommodations
Brandeis Law supports students with a range of documented disabilities, including learning disabilities, mental health conditions, sensory impairments, and mobility challenges. Accommodations are coordinated through the DRC, which serves as the university’s official office for disability verification and services.
Accommodation Process
To begin the accommodation process:
- New Students: Complete the New Student Intake Form
- Returning Students: Submit the Law School Service Request Form
Accommodations may include classroom support, exam adjustments, assistive technology, and physical access modifications. Classroom accommodations are shared with faculty to support implementation. Exam accommodations are managed confidentially by the Office of Academic Affairs.
Who to Contact
Students are encouraged to speak directly with the DRC or one of the following Brandeis Law staff or administrators:
