Brandeis Law Leads Kentucky in First-Time Bar Passage

Brandeis School of Law celebrated for top first-time bar passage rate in Kentucky, 2025.

The University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law is proud to announce that its first-time bar takers achieved the highest bar passage rate in Kentucky, with more than 84 percent passing the July exam.

Dean Melanie B. Jacobs shared her congratulations with graduates, saying, “I’m proud to share that our University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law first-time bar takers had the highest bar passage in Kentucky—a little over 84 percent. Congratulations to our amazing graduates, and I look forward to celebrating with you at the swearing-in.”

Dean Jacobs also reaffirmed the school’s commitment to supporting all graduates and to continuously strengthening its academic success resources to ensure future success.

Brandeis Law congratulates all who sat for the July exam and thanks the faculty, staff and alumni who helped prepare students for this important milestone. The school remains committed to supporting every graduate on their path to success in the legal profession.
