Clinics

Learn by doing. Serve with purpose.

At the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, learning the law means practicing it. Our six faculty-led legal clinics give second- and third-year students the opportunity to represent real clients, confront pressing legal issues and build practical skills in a supportive, structured environment.

Whether defending tenants from eviction, helping immigrant families navigate complex systems, supporting survivors of domestic violence or advising entrepreneurs and nonprofits, Brandeis Law students gain critical, hands-on experience while serving the Louisville community.

Clinic participation fulfills the school’s experiential learning requirement – and more importantly, prepares students to become capable, compassionate attorneys from the moment they graduate.
